New Signs Of Collusion Between Trump And Russia Is Another “Nothing-Burger”, We’re Told
Americans have been fed so many of what President Trump’s spokespeople, media surrogates and legal flunkies term “nothing-burgers” concerning the litany of scandals surrounding Trump, his campaign and administration – that we’re all starting to feel nauseous.
But yet again, President Trump’s apologists have buckled on their tap shoes and are dancing like mad to make excuses for Donald Trump Jr’s email release today.

This is part of the June 2016 “emails between Trump Jr. and Rob Goldstone, a British publicist who arranged the meeting between Trump Jr. and lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya on behalf of Azeri oligarchs Emin and Aras Agalarov.”
The tweet reveals the content of the email:
“The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father…This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump…helped along with Aras and Emin.”
Donald Jr. responded that he loved the idea.
Social media is on fire today with condemnation tempered by the excuses from Trump devotees. Rush Limbaugh spent his radio program defending the email exchange as a “nothing-burger”, insisting that since the woman Jr. admitted he met with and the meeting he participated in – (attended also by Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort), did not produce meaningful opposition “dirt” on his father’s political opponent.
The fact is, Donald Trump is no fool. He insured his campaign and presidency with a quote that he believes will protect him from accountability for every misdeed forever. Because his voters and followers accepted it, they will carry his water and guilt as our Republic is eviscerated from within.
